Slovenian Cultural Days – Exhibition ”Zlati rez”

On Wednesday, 5 February 2025, at 17.30, Irena Joveva MEP is organising the opening ceremony of the Golden Cut exhibition at the European Parliament (JAN 3Q, Brussels).

The exhibition, created by renowned Slovenian artist Izidor Tomaž Perko, presents portraits of ten key figures from Slovenian history and culture.

The opening will be attended by:

– Iztok Jarc, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Slovenia to the European Union (welcome address);
– Irena Joveva, Member of the European Parliament (opening address);
– Izidor Tomaž Perko, author and curator of the exhibition (behind the scenes); and
– Marta Kos, European Commissioner for Enlargement (closing address).

On this occasion, MEP Joveva will highlight the importance of Slovenian culture and history in the European space.
